Duster Coats

I've recently become a fan of duster coats and I'm currently on the look out for the perfect one... or two. A duster is a light, loose fitting long coat. After hours of browsing online I've selected a few different variations of duster coats below.
1)Boohoo - Camille Duster Coat £40
This duster coat features in the latest Boohoo TV advert and I love it. I think I will definitely be purchasing this coat very soon. It consists of an open front design, notched lapels, side splits and twin patch pockets.

2) Daisy Street - Neo Grid Print Duster Jacket In White £34.99
I saw this jacket on Daisy Streets instagram and since then I've  been debating on whether to get it or not... decisions decisions... This jacket is a checked print, longline style with two pockets.

3) Asos - Duster Coat with Stormflaps £42
The buttoned storm flaps with leather look straps create a unique version of the duster coat. The coat is made from a lightweight fabric and is fully lined. The belted cuffs add a nice little detail to the jacket as well as the side slant pockets. This jacket is currently in the sale and was originally £70.

4) Topshop - Longline Duster Coat £79
This is an oversized long length throw on coat. It is lightweight with a popper fastening and side pockets. I love the lilac pastel colour of this coat. This is the most expensive duster coat out of my chosen selection.

5) New Look - Pale Pink Crepe Duster Coat £29.99
This duster coat is in a sweet pastel hue and is made in a textured crepe fabric. It has a pocket detail and an open front design. This version also comes in a black

6) New Look - Monochrome Patterned Duster Coat £24.99
This is another coat that I have considered purchasing, but I've not yet made my mind up about it. I love the all over pattern and the casual fit.

7) New Look - Coral Unlined Duster Coat £34.99
This longline coat consists of a collared front, pocket details and has an unlined finish. The coat also comes in a black, mint green and a yellow

8) New Look - Pale Blue Double Pocket Textured Duster Coat £29.99
I just love the pastel blue colour of this coat. This jacket has an open front design and double pockets. This coat is available in a navy and a bright pink

9) New Look - Blue Textured Crepe Duster Coat £29.99
This structured style coat has a textured design made from crepe fabric. This coat is available in 6 other colours!

10) River Island - Blue Floral Print Duster Jacket £55
I love this gorgeous print. This blue flowers and butterfly print is so chic. It features a longline shape and an open front design.

My favourite duster coats out of these would have to be the Boohoo Camilla Duster, the Daisy Street Neo Grid Print Duster and finally the River Island Blue Floral Duster jacket.

My River Island Sale Edit

I have a love hate relationship with sales. I love the price tag but hate it when recent purchases go into the sale.

River Island is currently my go to shop and it never fails to disappoint. I decided I would pick out a few of my favourite items which are currently in the sale. I probably should have done this post when the sales had first started as there were quite a few bargains to be had.

1) Black textured floral fit and flare dress £12

That devastating feel you get when you purchased a dress and within a couple of weeks its in the sale for less than half price. Don't you just hate it when that happens! On a plus note this dress is an absolute beaut. I love the textured floral monochrome print and its sweetheart neckline. Its such a flattering shape and fits like a glove.

2)Blue floral print zip trim skater dress £15
Always a fan of a skater dress. The gold tone zip down front adds a great little detail to this dress.

3) Coral rose print skater dress £15
As you can probably guess already I do love a dress that nips in at the waist. The vibrant colour of the dress is perfect for the summer weather. The sweetheart neckline and the fit and flare shape makes for a very feminine and flattering shape.

4)Dark red floral embroidered crop tank top £12
I quite like the boxy shape of this sleeveless cropped tank top. The cut out floral embroidery and scalloped front edge adds great detail to this simple shape. The top also features a button down back.

5)Gold embellished jacquard cropped jacket £20
This jacket is one of those that I like but don't think I would wear,id have to try it on to see if they shape suited me. I just love the whole vintage vibe it gives with the gold embellished jacquard pattern. The jacket is cropped kimono inspired shape and originally was £75!

6)Gold tone curb chain gem statement necklace £20
With this statement piece I love the combination of colours and the cut out detail.

7)White lace up block heel ankle boots £20
I'm really into chunky shoes at the moment and these white lace up block heel ankle boots do not disappoint. The contrast of the black platform and white boot create a statement look. The gunmetal tone zip makes a great little detail to the boot.

8) Black bardot crop top £7
Retro perfection as describe by River Island and indeed it is. The off the shoulder sweetheart neckline makes for a super cute flattering fit.

9) Lilac tartan high waisted shorts £12
I do love a bit of tartan. I thought id feature these shorts as I have brought a skort in a very similar pastel hued print. These are smart high waisted shorts with a concealed zip fastening. There is a blue tartan blazer available which could be teamed with the shorts to make a cute little co-ord outfit.

Oh I do love a bargain!

"I suppose I should tell you what this bitch is thinking..."

Iv finally decided to start my own blog,Yay!

Thinking of a blog name was pretty difficult, everything I thought of had already been used. I looked through fashion/style quotes and came across a quote from Bill Blass... Who?... Wikipedia to the rescue! He was an American designer.

"When In Doubt...Wear Red"

'When In doubt' was already taken (boo!) I was set on the idea that it was the perfect blog name for me. I found a lil cheeky way around it just by swapping the letter 'o' for the number '0'. I thought when in doubt was quite fitting as I am always in doubt of what to wear.
